I am an engineer with over 18 year experience in global footprint expansion, business management and investment analysis. I have lived and worked in Australia, Mexico, China, Italy and now in the Netherlands. I have a background in industrial automation, engineered products, semiconductors and Chemicals.
Based in Weesp, near Amsterdam, I have worked as Head of Operations, General Manager and Director for a number of technology businesses in which I performed several technology transfers, business turnarounds and divestment operations globally. Most recently, I have founded Lontaine, a consultancy firm specialising in Mergers and Acquisitions, Turnaround, exit packaging and IPOs. Also, I manage Baest Machina, a science based think tank developing tools for the future.
I am focused on the acquisition, investment and restructure of established businesses. My aim is to engage in a straight forward win-win transaction for both the seller and myself. The M&A world can be bogged down with lawyers, accountants and external advisors, that whilst still needed, my approach is to sit down with business owners and draft a mutually beneficial deal that leaves both parties feeling positive and in a position to achieve personal goals.
Additionally, being aware of the exponential pace of science and technology, the world requires better tools; some mechanical, some digital, and requires better systems, business models, ways of thinking. My goals is also to collaborate in high impact tech based ventures.
